Can you find out the age of the boy,Luke who was a hostage: She was as her tongue and a little older than her teef. She was two years older than the Luke's father, who is four times Luke's cousin. As two years less than him when he was fourteen. Can you work out how old his father and mother was when Luke was born?

Holmes, Doctor Watson and Mrs Hudson were all having a friendly game of cards in the study of 22lb Baker Street one evening. The stalks were nothing more than matches, but nevertheless it turned out to be Mrs Hudson's night. She finished twice as many matches as Holmes, while Holmes ended up with three times as many as Watson. If the total matches were ninety-how many did they each end up with?

Puzzle 4
Moriarty has connected a large tank filled with acid to a bath. Holmes, bound and gagged, struggles above the bath. When the bath fills, Holmes will fall in, to his certain death. The first tap will fill the bath with the plug in, in eight minutes. The second tap will take seven minutes to achieve the same result. With the bath filled and both taps off with the plug out, the bath will empty in two minutes. Moriarty decides to run both the taps together and leave the plug out before leaving the room and Holmes to his fate. How much time does Holmes have to struggle free?

Holmes asked Watson (Watson was good in maths) ,''Can you tell me which four digit number which satisfies the followin conditions: the last digit is twice as the first, the third digit is twice as the second, and the sum of the first and last digits is twice the third?''. Can you give the answer?
